Coaching

Mindset coaching to grow confidence, resilience and build emotional intelligence to cope with challenges. Coaching offers a safe space, where a child can feel listened to and understood. Gentle coaching techniques are used to help children reframe negative thinking and soothe anxious thoughts. Suitable for ages 5+.

Coaching is also available to teens and adults.

Available online or in-person in the comfort of my garden room. Coaching can be delivered in individual or block sessions (at a reduced rate).

Mindfulness

Bespoke sessions following the Youth Mindfulness Kids Programme for children age 7 - 11 years old.  Lessons aim to help children develop awareness of their thoughts and feelings, fostering greater emotional regulation and wellbeing. Mindfulness has many benefits to mental health and wellbeing, including improved attention, focus, and emotional regulation.

A block of 8 sessions is available online or in-person in the comfort of my garden room. Mindfulness techniques can also be incorporated with my other services of coaching and tutoring.

Tutoring

As a qualified Primary School Teacher, specialised in Support for Learning, Stephanie can support children with reading, writing, spelling, and maths difficulties. She can also offer dyslexia support (including advice to parents on the dyslexia identification process) and advice to children and teens.

Stephanie is trained to deliver the Numicon Intervention Programme. Numicon is a multi-sensory approach to teaching mathematics that helps children understand numbers and mathematical concepts through visual and tactile resources. This is suitable for children aged 6-11 who are ‘not on track’ with their learning in maths and numeracy.

Children learn best when they feel safe and supported. Tutoring will include all three elements of coaching, mindfulness, and educational support, to help nurture brighter minds.

Due to the multi-sensory teaching approach that I use, tutoring is only available in-person in my garden room.
