Coaching

Mindset coaching to grow confidence, resilience and build emotional intelligence to cope with challenges. Coaching offers a safe space, where children and young people can feel listened to and understood. Gentle coaching techniques are used to help reframe negative thinking and soothe anxious thoughts. Suitable for ages 5+.

Parent coaching is available to help you understand your child's needs, strengthen your confidence, and create positive change at home and in partnership with school.

Available in-person in the comfort of my garden room. Coaching can be delivered in individual or block sessions (at a reduced rate).

Mindfulness

Bespoke sessions following the Youth Mindfulness Kids Programme for children age 7 - 11 years old and the Youth Mindfulness SOMA Programme for young people age 12 and over.  These evidence-informed programmes help develop emotional regulation, resilience, self-awareness, focus, and coping strategies, supporting children to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and calm.

Mindfulness sessions can be tailored to meet the needs of individual children, families, schools and community groups. Whether you're looking for one-to-one support, a short block of sessions, workshops or ongoing programmes, sessions can be adapted to suit your goals, timescale and budget.

Tutoring

As a qualified Primary School Teacher, specialised in Support for Learning, Stephanie provides tailored support for children experiencing difficulties with reading, writing, spelling and maths. She can also offer dyslexia support (including advice to parents on the dyslexia identification process) and advice and wellbeing support to children and teens.

Stephanie offers Numicon Diagnostic Assessments to provide a detailed picture of a child's mathematical understanding, identifying strengths, misconceptions and gaps in learning. Following the assessment, she can deliver the Numicon Intervention Programme. This is a multi-sensory approach that uses visual and tactile resources to build confidence and develop a secure understanding of number and mathematical concepts. Suitable for children aged 6–11, the programme is ideal for those who would benefit from targeted support to catch up and thrive in maths.

Children learn best when they feel safe and supported. Alongside targeted educational support, I naturally weave coaching and mindfulness strategies into tutoring sessions to help children develop confidence, resilience and a positive relationship with learning.

Sessions take place in my peaceful garden room - a calm, welcoming space where children can learn, grow and build confidence at their own pace.

Tutoring sessions are available on a one-to-one basis, with discounted rates available for block bookings. This allows us to create consistency and build on progress over time, supporting children to develop both their skills and confidence.

For some children, I may recommend beginning with a few coaching sessions before starting tutoring. This provides an opportunity to understand their individual strengths, challenges, mindset and learning needs, helping them to feel more confident, motivated and ready to engage with learning.

Reviews

It brings me so much joy to work with children and young people and to witness the growth in their confidence, self-belief and resilience, along with all the other positive changes that coaching and tutoring can facilitate.

I'm incredibly grateful to the families who have kindly given me permission to share their feedback. Here are just a few of the lovely words they've shared about their experiences.

"Stephanie was absolutely wonderful with my child. Her sessions were thoughtful, engaging and very personalised to him as an individual. The written feedback after each session was incredibly insightful and often highlighted feelings, thought processes and triggers that my son struggles to express himself. I was genuinely impressed by how well she understood the way his brain works and how carefully she adapted her approach to suit him.

My child has become much better at recognising and expressing what is happening emotionally for him. He is more able to explain his feelings, identify triggers and understand what is happening in his body when he becomes overwhelmed or dysregulated.

Overall, we have had a very positive experience and I would absolutely recommend Stephanie to other families."
